    Champs Elyssees is all lit up and beautiful at nighttime in Paris. It's one of the most romantic places in the world, especially from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. you can see that all the streets of Paris form a star around it, and at night that's twice as pretty.
    The restaurants on the champs Elysees are still open so in the summer you can dine outdoors, and there's also stores, cinema, etc.

    A walk on Champs-Elysees is a delight not only by day but also by night.

    Surrounded buy high class shops (some of these shops are still opened until late in the night), Champs-Elysees is a romance of light and colors.

    Numerous elegant restaurants open their terraces on the sidewalk and tasting an exotic cocktail and enjoying the view it's a perfect way to spend a pleasant evening in Paris.

    In Paris I always like it walking a lot through the city during the day. But If I am not too tired, I continue to walk in the in the evening as well.

    When it's getting dark, it's wonderful to see all the lights in the city of light. All monuments and landmarks in Paris are beautifully illuminated, like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumphe. specially the Eiffel Tower has sparkling lights around 10pm.

    There are so many lifely places in Paris, where you can enjoy the city of light in the evening. One of the first times in Paris I did the obliged walk along the very known Avenue des Champs Elysees in the evening. At that moment the atmosphere is totally different from the day.

    Along the avenue itself and in its area are a lot of shops, boutiques and (fastfood)restaurants. One of my favourite dinners I had in the Lebanese restaurants 'Fakhr El Din' south of the Champs Elysees (at the Rue Quentin Bouchart nr.3, metro Georges V).

    The Champs Elysées, the biggest and most popular street in Paris is ideal to have a little walk in the evening / at night. Most shops are opened, so you can shop through the boutiques (attention: very expensive!!) or have a drink in one of the coffee-shops and restaurants. There are also many cinemas and bars along this street.

    It can get cold at night, so take a jacket with you...
    No dress code in the restaurants.

    A stroll along the Champs Elysees anytime is a wonderful experience, but a stroll in the evening is even better. The lights, the people, the hustle and bustle all make it a real sensory experience.

    There are lots of restaurants and nightspots along the way. Grab a glass of wine and just do some people watching. You'll see people dressed in their finest and people in jeans - but they all seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were.

    The Champs Elyssées is wonderful any time of the day but my favorite time to explore this street is at night. Spring and Summer nights are especially nice when the street cafes are in full swing, busteling with locals and tourists. My favorite route is to take a walk after dinner from the Arc de Triomphe on the top to the very bottom, ducking in and out of shops along the way. If you don't have enough energy to walk back to your hotel you can take the Metro to just about anywhere in the city.

    If you're just going for a walk anything goes. If you're out for dinner or a night on the town you shoud probably dress up a bit.

    Go wild, run out in the middle of the street, and "feel" Paris all around you. Take a pic of the Arch, see the cars wizzing by you, and take it all in!! There is no other city like it in the world!!

  • If you are looking for a café, you can find some everywhere on the avenue. But finding a good pub is more difficult...

    -Firkin (Large irish pub. Closes late on WE)
    - African pub (?) (Calm and comfortable with soft light. Try the ginger cocktail !)
    - Chesterfield café (American pub. Difficult to get a sit if
    you only want to have a drink)

    - Sir Winston (large pub, quite smart)

    You've got to walk around Champs Elysee by night.. the shops are open until midnight.. the ambiance is fun and it looks like a party :D
