 | Paris Montmartre & Pigalle Reviews | 21 - 30 of 50 | | If Montmatre could only offer us the sex stuffs, that would be so boring ! Me & Patrick walked further, we wanted to see Sacre Coeur at night ! Hours earlier, me & Alain went to this place & took many photos ! So, it's time for me & Patrick to venture to this place again... The Church of Sacre Coeur sits on a hill...On this photo, you can see a bit of the carrousel at the bottom of the hill which during the day attracts kids & adults, a busy place indeed ! At night, it's more quiet & so atmospheric... Leave a Comment Theme: Other

My last night photo around Paris or rather in the Montmartre Area... Taken near our hotel....everything was so quiet & peaceful with the occasional sounds of vehicles like cars & bikes...& sometimes people shouting ! I like it very much.... Slowly, we went up the room & slept right away ! Early morning train back to London the following morning & an early evening flight back to Malaysia, also tomorrow ! A successful night excursion for me ! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Paris is the city for lovers and no better place to find nitelife than in Montmatre. This is a wonderful place full of cafes and clubs of all sorts, there is one there where you can sit and dine and listen to a singer who sounds like La Piaf. It was wonderful and without doubt an evening to treasure. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

Okay...so this isn't really nightlife in terms of what MTV might label exciting or cool or whatever, but I thought it was damn chic and sooooo awesome. I'm talking about Sacre-Coeur at night. (It's real name is le Basilique du Sacre-Coeur...whatever.) I'm putting this under 'nightlife' because at night, people go sit on the steps of the basilica and watch the sunset...and it is soooo beautiful. We're talking amazingly beautiful here. And it's better than a stinkin club.
Um...anything romantic...ahh... Leave a Comment Theme: People WatchingDirections: I think its east of Montmartre...the closest Metro stop is Abbesses (or thats what it looks like).

Even the cafes & restaurants are started to closed for business... To me at least, I love the atmospheres... At that moment, I could hear sounds of the waiters washing the glasses/dishes, gathering the forks & spoons...arranging the tables & chairs...footsteps & some yellings as well... in which during the day would be so lively with music & paintings ! If you want a REAL red light district experience, don't follow the tourists! Take it from me, I went with friends and we found two other red light districts in Paris that were absolutely incredible compared to Pigalle. One of my friends bought a guide book beforehand, and we enjoyed one place so much (La Femme i think it's called) that we're already planning another trip in the fall. If you wish to take part in the night time delights of Paris, do your homework. It's worth it. Also, like some of the other posters warned; take care of your wallet. One of my friends got picked near the train station and it ruined his holiday pretty much. Have fun in Paris & enjoy! :-)

Montmartre is alway a place to return. Go there at night and chose an italian, indian, arab, fast food, francese, brazilian (...) restaurant. There will be always a choice to what you want. After, you may seat on a nice cafe, tasting a good wine and just look around. Theme: Eating and Drinking
