Located 25 km north-west outside of Paris near Roissy is the Charles de Gaulle (CDG) International Airport. This is France's busiest international airport connecting Paris to the rest of the world. As far as airports go, CDG is unique because it has a very blatant 70's modernist/futuristic feel to it. If you don't know what I mean, think of the Jetson's or Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
What's really neat (or at least I thought so), is that in order to get from one floor to the next, you have to use the escalators. Except, the escalators aren't really stairs, they're like conveyer belts located in giant bubble tubes that cut through the centre of the airport. It's really quite neat and certainly different in terms of airport aesthetic!

By plane through Roissy Airport (CDG).

Paris Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle Airport Info >>> : Located 23km (14m) northeast of Paris. Terminals 1, 2 and 9 are linked by free shuttle buses.
Information and help desks: Terminal 1 has information desks on the Departures level, at exits 34 and 36, and on the Arrivals level at exits 34 and 36. Terminal 2 has information desks at halls A, B, C, D, F (levels 0 and 2). Terminal 9 has desks at Arrivals and Departures. The information desks also offer a special welcome service for disabled passengers.
A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes; the airport also offers a chauffeur-driven limousine service (tel:1 40 71 84 62). The Airport Shuttle is a door-to-door minibus service which takes around 1h 15 mins.

Uh oh... keep away from the Charles Degaulle Airport! Its a mess! Besides that I seriously cant recommend anyone to fly with AirFrance... I missed a flight and had to spend a night at the airport, and furthermore they lost my baggage... both on the outgoing and homecoming flight! Jeeez! Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

If you arrive from another part of Europe, you can travel by train, and if you are arriving from UK, as I did, you can do so either by plane or Eurostar.
On foot! Paris is one of those cities in which walking is really worth. No matter how much you've walked, it's essential to avoid missing anything!
If you aren´t much of a walker person, you can go around by metro, there are many lines that take you almost everywhere. If you're going to the outskirts, you can travel by train. Leave a Comment

I travel to Paris and from Paris with areoplane.
During the summer there are direct flights from Olbia (Sardinia) to Paris. The trip lasts 2 hours
The best way to travel in Paris is the underground railway.
This will get you everywhere and isn't coplicate direct yourself there.

We have 2 airports around Paris: Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle. The best way is definitly the train (RER).
Orly :
20 km in the south of Paris
2 terminals 'orly sud' and 'Orly Ouest'
Roissy Charles de Gaulle:
40 km in the north-est of Paris

To get to Paris from Ireland or the UK, the cheapest flights are with Ryanair. The reason we visit Paris so often is because of these cheap flights. Keep a close eye on when the special offers are on and be prepared to book quickly.
Also, remember - you get what you pay for. Expect delays and minimal service. You will have to pay for any food and drinks during the flight, but you can also bring your own.
