BOOOOORrrrrrinnnnnnng...........zzzzzzz
Alright that's enough i guess
one more pic just to let y'all feel a little of what I went through during my 10 hours of torture...

On top of that I was totally screwed on jetlag and from the free wine on the plane.....

Air France serves wine and cheese-so of course we took advantage.....maybe a little too much!!!!

    Charles de Gaul Airport
For a city that ranks as one of the top destinations in the whole world, they sure have a really crappy airport. I'm talking bad... I still can't believe I would see an airport of this quality from such a rich country like France. I wish I took a picture... if you've never been there, you would take a look at the airport and not believe that its Paris' main airport.

In the end though, its an airport, you'll get through it and get to your destination.

    Flying: Air France
I recommend Air France to take you on your journey. You'll savor a taste of France even before you arrive. The food is excellent and that is very rare for an airline....the wine is excellent!

    Flying: Charles De Gaulle Airport
My apologies to all French people, but Charles De Gaulle Airport is certainly not among the more impressive airports in the world. (Especially Terminal 1)

    1. The staffs are not extremely helpful.

    2. Facilities and shops are lacking.

    3. They actually have passport control when you LEAVE! Once we are in, we feel like prisoners.

France is a beautiful and modern country, but unfortunately, CDG airport had remained stagnant throughout the years.

    Flying: Beauvais Airport
My brother at Beauvais Airport - Paris

Three of my most recent trips to Paris have been from Ireland and on each occasion I flew with Ryanair from Dublin to Beauvais Airport. This is a small airport in the town of Beauvais, about 60km North-West of Paris.

The bus from Beauvais to central Paris leaves about 30 minutes after the flight arrives. It costs 10 Euro for a single ticket and the trip takes around 1 1/2 hours. In Paris the bus stops opposite the Palais des Congres near Porte Maillot metro stop.

For the return trip the bus leaves from the same spot three hours before your the flight. You can buy tickets on the bus. (Also, a couple of years ago you could buy them at the nearby James Joyce pub, I'm not sure if this is still the case).

    Flying: With EasyJet to Paris
I flew from Dortmund to Paris in february 2005

EasyJet is a european low-cost-carrier. Is is a really new and friendly airline.
You can't reserve your seat so it like first comes first serves. In Dortmund they let you enter the airplane according to our check-inn number. If you wanna be the first on the plane try to check inn as early as possible (gate opens 2hrs prior to departure) to get a checki-inn number between 1 and 30. During your flight you can buy some food like sandwiches, drink, muffins etc.
From Paris to Dortmund at boarding they don't care when you checked in, everybody may enter the bus to the aircraft. But note! When the bus reaches the position of the aircraft they will just open the front door and and let about 10-20 passengers pass to wait until the are in the plane to let the next bunch enter.
All in all this airline is really nice and friendly, although the crew is also funny and nice!
I would fly again with EasyJet!

From the Airports to Paris: Hidden Connections
If people fly to Paris via CDG Airport, to visit a fair at Villepinte Fairground, they should obtain an early information about suitable public traffic conntections. At the airport no well visible signs can be found, to get to the right buses (afterwards one more change to the metro).

From the Airports to Paris: Charles De Gaule Airport
If you are flying to Paris, chances are this is the airport you will land at. Personally I found it to be a dirty gruby airport, full of smoke and filth. Not something I would expect to see in Paris.

It is, however, easy to get from here into town. For a small price you can hop onto the RER train, wich is sort of an express metro.

Alternately, you could rent a care or get a taxi, be warned though, traffic in Paris is horrendous.
